Regional Housing Strategy Stakeholder Engagement

To inform the regional housing strategy, the Cape Cod Commission is collaborating with a range of stakeholders that are impacted by or are working to address the lack of affordable and attainable housing on Cape Cod. The Commission has convened a steering committee comprised of representatives of regional organizations to offer insight on challenges and necessary outcomes, discuss and provide input on strategies, and help to define regional recommendations. A funding and financing working group has also been convened to discuss challenges related to existing funding and financing mechanisms, provide insight and feedback on new or creative funding and financing models, and ultimately to help define recommendations to be included in the regional housing strategy. In addition, the Commission has been meeting with subregional stakeholder working groups to gather insight and feedback on housing challenges, opportunities, strategies, and implementation pathways.
