AGENDA: Cape Cod Commission Climate Action Subcommittee

Note: The meeting will be held virtually, with all members of the Cape Cod Commission Climate Action Subcommittee participating remotely, pursuant to Massachusetts Governor Charles D. Baker’s Order Suspending Certain Provisions of the Open Meeting Law dated March 12, 2020.

1. Attendance- Roll Call
2. Subcommittee Role and Purpose: Discussion of the subcommittee’s role and responsibilities in the Cape Cod Commission’s overall Cape Cod Climate Initiative; discussion about a subcommittee Climate Action workplan and sequencing, including with respect to potential Regional Policy Plan amendments.
3. Elements of a Cape Cod Climate Action Plan: Discussion about the concepts and elements to be included in the Cape Cod Climate Action Plan, including review staff has undertaken of other climate action plans and relevant literature from around the nation.
4. Baseline Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventory: Discussion about the methodology used for developing the Cape Cod regional greenhouse gas emissions inventory and presentation of draft inventory results.
5. Climate Action Plan Stakeholder Process: Discussion about the professionally facilitated stakeholder engagement process proposed to inform development of the Cape Cod Climate Action Plan.
