Amendments to transportation documents released for comment
The Cape Cod Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) has released two (2) documents for a 21-day public review and comment period. Members of the public are invited to review these documents and provide comments.
- Draft Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2020-2024 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Amendment 1 [LINK]
- Draft FFY 2020 Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) Amendment 1 [LINK]
The TIP serves as a prioritized listing of roadway, bridge, and transit projects proposed for implementation during the next five (5) federal fiscal years. TIP Amendment 1 would adjust funding in the TIP for the Barnstable Villager, Stormwater at Various Locations, and Route 28 Falmouth/Bourne Sign Replacement projects. The UPWP describes all significant transportation planning activities planned on Cape Cod over the twelve (12) month period of October 2019 through September 2020. UPWP Amendment 1 would adjust funding in the UPWP to Task 4 – Technical Assistance Activities. The draft amendments are available at: www.capecodcommission.org/mpo
The MPO voted to accept public comment on the draft TIP Amendment 1 and draft UPWP Amendment 1 through November 11, 2019.
