PUBLIC MEETING: Route 6A Visioning Study
A nationally designated scenic byway, Route 6A serves as a vital corridor where people live, work, and travel. However, the roadway currently lacks safe and accessible options for walking, biking, and other forms of transportation.
In cooperation with the adjacent towns and the Massachusetts Department of Transportation, the Cape Cod Commission is conducting a two-year study to explore ways to improve safety along the corridor while protecting its unique character.
Attend a public meeting to:
- Hear what the Commission is looking at: crash data, sidewalks, bike access, speed limits, and more.
- Share your thoughts, concerns, and ideas for how to make Route 6A safer and more accessible without losing what makes it special.
- Your input will help shape the recommendations and priorities for this important study.
