OUTREACH: Transportation Outreach Meeting - RTP
The Cape Cod Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is anticipated to release a Draft of the 2024 Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) for a 21-day public review and comment period.
In accordance with the Public Participation Process developed by the Cape Cod MPO, the Cape Cod Commission will be making the Draft FFY 2024 RTP available for public review and comment after its release at the CCMPO meeting on June 26, 2023.
The RTP sets the long-range vision for the transportation system on Cape Cod for the next 20-25 years. It is the primary means for the allocation of federal and state funds for the Cape's transportation needs and is updated every four years. A copy of the RTP will be available for review online at: www.capecodcommission.org/rtp
Public comment opportunities for to review the Draft RTP will be held on the following dates:
- A virtual public meeting to be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at 6:00 PM
- An in-person meeting at the Bourne Veteran's Memorial Community Center at 5:30 PM on Monday, July 10, 2023 located at 239 Main St, Buzzards Bay, MA 02532
- An in-person meeting at the Hyannis Transportation Center at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 located at 215 Iyannough Rd, Hyannis, MA 02601

A virtual public meeting of the Cape Cod MPO is tentatively scheduled for Monday, July 24, 2023 at 1:00 PM to hear additional public comments and consider endorsement of the RTP. Virtual meeting details will be available at www.capecodcommission.org/mpo
