HEARING NOTICE
CAPE COD COMMISSION
A subcommittee of the Cape Cod Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at 4:30 p.m. at Provincetown Town Hall, Judge Welsh Room, 260 Commercial St., Provincetown, MA 02657 on the following Project, which has been referred to and is being reviewed by the Cape Cod Commission as a mandatory Development of Regional Impact (DRI) pursuant to Sections 12 & 13 of the Cape Cod Commission’s Act, as amended.

- Project Location: 26 Shank Painter Road and 15 Browne Street, Provincetown, MA 02657
- Map/Parcel: Map 7-2, Parcels 68 & 70
- Project Description: The project proposes to redevelop the former police station property into a 40-unit home-ownership residential development, including below market value units. The project proposes to construct a new 4-story building of approximately 30,000 square feet and associated site improvements.
All interested persons will have an opportunity to comment at the hearing. Written comments may also be submitted by mail to the Cape Cod Commission, P.O. Box 226, 3225 Main St. Barnstable, MA 02630 or online using the form located at https://capecodcommission.org/comment. The DRI application including a map showing the location of the subject property and other project materials may be accessed for review at https://capecodcommission.org/projects and is also available for public inspection at the Commission’s office during normal business hours.
