AGENDA: Cape Cod Metropolitan Planning Organization

Note: The meeting will be held virtually, with all members of the Cape Cod Metropolitan Planning Organization participating remotely, pursuant to Massachusetts Governor Charles D. Baker’s Order Suspending Certain Provisions of the Open Meeting Law dated March 12, 2020.    

Members of the public can join the meeting using one of the following methods:     

Meeting materials may be accessed at www.capecodcommission.org/mpo. It is recommended that phone participants access materials in advance of the meeting. Please join the virtual meeting at least fifteen minutes before the start of the meeting and call (508) 362-3828 if you have any issues joining.

  3. Potential approval of prior meeting minutes: May 26, 2020
  4. Public Comment: The chair will provide instructions on how members of the public can indicate an interest in speaking and will call on members of the public wishing to speak.
  5. Sub-regional Representative Election Process: Staff will describe and the Cape Cod Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) may vote whether to approve a process for the election of sub-regional representatives to the Cape Cod Metropolitan Planning Organization for the term of January 1, 2021 though December 31, 2023.
  6. Federal Fiscal Year 2020 (October 1, 2019 – September 30, 2020)Unified Planning Work Program(“UPWP”) Project Updates: Staff will provide updates on the status of FFY2020 UPWP projects including a presentation on the traffic counting program, the greenhouse gas emissions inventory, and electric vehicle charging station siting analysis.
  7. Reports: Massachusetts Department of Transportation staff will discuss the status of the Transportation Improvement Program projects. Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority and Cape Cod Commission staff will report on recent and upcoming transportation initiatives across Cape Cod.
  8. New Business: Topics not reasonably anticipated by the Chair more than 48 hours before the meeting.
  9. Adjourn
