- Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) Municipal Grants: MassDOT staff will provide an update on the current Municipal Grant programs, including a new community culvert program, a new unpaved roads program and the newly revamped Complete Streets Program.
- Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority (CCRTA) Hybrid Bus Routing Discussion: CCRTA staff will lead a discussion on the deployment of their new fleet of hybrid transit buses to identify existing roadway challenges that may exist for these new buses along their routes, such as bridge weight limits and tree overhang.
- Cape Cod Vision Zero Action Plan: Cape Cod Commission staff will discuss next steps in the implementation of the Cape Cod Vision Zero Action Plan, including addressing safety on major state-owned roadways such as Route 6. Additionally, the Town of Sandwich staff will present their ongoing safety campaign. Members may discuss and further identify other Zero Action Plan implementation priorities.
- Federal Fiscal Years (October 1 – September 30) 2026-2030 Transportation Improvement Program (“TIP”) Development TIP Amendment 1: Staffwill review, and Committee members will consider public comments on and may vote to recommend that the Cape Cod Metropolitan Planning Organization endorse, TIP Amendment 1, which would add additional funding for the Harwich Elementary Safe Routes to School project (#610670) to match updated design cost estimates.
- Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) Construction Project Updates: MassDOT District 5 staff will provide an update on current status of Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) projects that are under construction in the region.
- Reports: MassDOT staff will review the status of Transportation Improvement Program projects that are under construction or planned in the next five years. CCRTA staff will report on the status of current and future projects and initiatives to improve public transportation services on Cape Cod. Cape Cod Commission staff will report on upcoming public meetings and available grants including Safe Route to School and Community Transit grants.
- New Business: Topics not reasonably anticipated by the Chair more than 48 hours before the meeting.

The public discussion of the Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP) at CCJTC, MPO, and transportation meetings satisfies the Program of Projects (POP) public hearing requirements of the Federal Transit Administration (FTA). Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP) project updates may include updates on the following projects: Dennis/Harwich, Route 28 Reconstruction; Provincetown, Shank Painter Road Improvements; Chatham, Route 28 at Main St/Queen Anne Rd/Crowell Rd; Dennis, Route 28 Streetscape; Yarmouth, Corridor Improvements; Bourne, Route 6 Scenic Highway Median Installation; Bourne, Rail Trail – Phase 1; Harwich, Harwich Elementary School Safe Routes to School; Harwich, Bridge Preservations on Route 6; Barnstable, Route 6 Resurfacing and Related Work; Truro/Wellfleet Route 6 Resurfacing; Barnstable, Culvert Replacement Route 6A over Boat Cove Creek; Harwich Old Colony Rail Trail Modernization; Bourne, Route 28 Resurfacing; and Falmouth, Route 28 Resurfacing.
