Note: The meeting will be held virtually, with members of the Cape Cod Joint Transportation Committee participating remotely, pursuant to Chapter 20 of the Acts of 2021, as further amended by Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2025.

  3. Potential approval of prior meeting minutes: April 11, 2025
  4. Public Comment
  5. Safe Streets and Roads for All (“SS4A”) Grant: Staff will provide an overview of the SS4A Discretionary Grant Program and a potential regional application to the grant program. Committee members will discuss the application and may vote whether to submit a letter of support for it.
  6. Update on Transportation Plans Available for Public Comment: Staffwill provide an update on, and the Joint Transportation Committee may discuss, the following draft plans that are currently out for public comment and are available at capecodcommission.org/mpo.
    • Federal Fiscal Year (October 1 – September 30) 2026 Unified Planning Work Program (significant transportation activities planned for Cape Cod for fiscal year 2026)
    • Federal Fiscal Year 2026-2030 Transportation Improvement Program (regionally significant transportation infrastructure projects)
  7. Top 50 Crash Report and Dashboard: Staff will present on the recently completed 2025 Top 50 Crash Locations report and the updated Crash Dashboard. The Top 50 Crash Locations and Crash Dashboard summarize the top crash locations on Cape Cod for the three-year period of 2021-2023.
  8. Reports: Massachusetts Department of Transportation staff will discuss the status of the Transportation Improvement Program projects. Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority and Cape Cod Commission staff will report on recent and upcoming transportation initiatives across Cape Cod.
  9. New Business: Topics not reasonably anticipated by the Chair more than 48 hours before the meeting.
