Section 208 Public Hearings Continue Through October
Following the 208 public draft release in August, the Cape Cod Commission began a series of subregional Public Hearings across the Cape to solicit public comment and to summarize the content of the draft.
The next Hearing will be held Tuesday, October 21st from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Mashpee Town Hall, and will be preceded by a 208 stakeholder session beginning at 2 p.m. for participants in the stakeholder process.
Anyone wishing to testify orally will be welcome to do so. Written comments may also be submitted at the hearing, or delivered or mailed to the Cape Cod Commission, P.O. Box 226, 3325 Main Street, Barnstable, MA 02630 or submitted online to watersheds@capecodcommission.org for receipt until the close of the public comment period on November 20, 2014. The Draft §208 Area Wide Water Quality Management Plan may be viewed at the Cape Cod Commission office between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. or online at http://cape20.org or http://capecodcommission.org/208.
