Commission staff changes
Stephanie Houghton was hired as a Special Projects Coordinator. She previously worked as Regional Director for U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren in Boston. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Boston University. She grew up in Orleans and is a 2005 graduate of Nauset High School. She filled the position previously held by Jennifer Clinton, who moved to Connecticut in June.
Heather Harper joined the Commission as a Community Design/Affordable Housing Specialist in June. She was previously the assistant town manager in the Town of Falmouth, where she worked for 21 years. She holds a Masters in Planning from UMass Amherst.
Community Design Manager Phil Dascombe left the Commission in Mid-July after 15 years of service. He returned to his home country of Wales with his family.
Patrick Tierney will leave his position as technical services planner in August. He began as a summer traffic technician as part of the Commission’s annual vehicle counting program and joined the staff full time in 2014.
