Cape Cod Commission to host American Rescue Plan Informational Webinars
Through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), the U.S. Economic Development Agency (EDA) was allocated $3 billion in supplemental funding to assist communities recovering from the economic impacts of COVID-19 and help build resilience to future economic disruptions.
With funding opportunities available via six innovative challenges, the Cape Cod Commission invites potential applicants from throughout the region to learn more about these programs at upcoming webinars, on Thursday, September 16 at 1:00 p.m. and Tuesday, September 21 at 3:30 p.m.
EDA’s six innovative challenges are:
- Build Back Better Regional Challenge
- Good Jobs Challenge
- Economic Adjustment Assistance
- Indigenous Communities
- Travel, Tourism and Outdoor Recreation
- Statewide Planning, Research and Networks
At each webinar, Commission staff will provide program summaries and participants will have the chance to ask questions about program details and share project ideas with Commission staff and other attendees, creating opportunities for collaborative partnerships in the region.
