Call for Presentations
The Cape Cod Commission is hosting the annual OneCape Summit at the Wequassett Resort on August 16th and 17th, 2018. Consistent with years past, the Summit provides an opportunity for a region-wide conversation on the unique intersections of Cape Cod’s environment and economy. This year will focus on the importance of environmental, community, and economic resilience in the face of ongoing natural and social change.
Past years have focused significantly on Cape Cod’s coastal water quality, as the region worked to define a path forward through development of a regional water quality plan. Significant progress is being made locally.
The Commission is seeking proposals for presentations that address water quality planning and implementation in the region, including pilot projects, innovative and alternative technologies, financing, and policy solutions.

Presentations may be in one of two formats, a full-length presentation (25-minutes), or a lightning talk (10 minutes or less). Full-length presentations should promote best practices and share lessons learned across the Cape. Lightning talks may highlight accomplishments, ideas, and local, grassroots projects that may move the needle on Cape Cod’s water quality challenges.
