Barnstable regulatory agreement authorizes redevelopment at Airport Rotary properties
The Town of Barnstable entered into a regulatory agreement with Mark Hyannis, LLC for the redevelopment of three parcels in Hyannis located at 411 and 417 Barnstable Road and 42 Bearse Road. This summary of the agreement is published to satisfy Section 168-8(G) of the Town of Barnstable’s ordinances.
The regulatory agreement authorizes the redevelopment of the property, including demolition of existing structures and the construction of two new buildings. New construction consists of a two-story, 6,080 square foot office/bank building with a drive-through and a 12,900 square foot retail pharmacy, including a 1,675 square foot mezzanine, and its own drive through.
Associated site improvements include a reduction in curb cuts, increased landscaping, new parking, pedestrian and site amenities, signage and stormwater management.
The properties are in the Hyannis Gateway and Groundwater Protection Overlay zoning districts.
The regulatory agreement was executed by the Town of Barnstable after a process of negotiation through Barnstable Planning Board and approval by the Barnstable Town Council, in September 2016 and recorded at the Barnstable County Registry of Deeds in February 2017.
