Regional Housing Strategy Steering Committee

Agenda

1. Introductions: Commission staff will facilitate the introduction of participants.
2. Overview of the Regional Housing Strategy: Cape Cod Commission (Commission) staff will briefly discuss the components of the Regional Housing Strategy for Cape Cod, progress on its development to date, including but not limited to the regional housing needs assessment, baseline data and resources, zoning analysis, and design guidelines.
3. Defining Success: The steering committee will discuss and provide feedback on defining successful outcomes and implementation of the Regional Housing Strategy for Cape Cod.
4. Stakeholder Engagement and Outreach: Commission staff will provide an overview of the stakeholder engagement process for the Regional Housing Strategy for Cape Cod and the approach for obtaining input through a preference survey and will elicit feedback on the proposed process from steering committee members.
5. Model Tools to Support Attainable Housing on Cape Cod: The steering committee will discuss potential tools and resources needed to address housing challenges on Cape Cod, including but not limited to model bylaws and deed restrictions.
6. Next Steps: Commission staff will discuss next steps for the committee, including meeting dates and future agenda items.
