Regional Housing Strategy Funding and Financing Working Group

AGENDA 

1. Introductions: Cape Cod Commission (Commission) staff will facilitate the introduction of participants. 
2. Overview of the Regional Housing Strategy: Commission staff will briefly discuss the components of the Regional Housing Strategy for Cape Cod and progress on its development to date, including summarizing common themes learned from municipal meetings and describing elements of the planning process that will address challenges related to funding and financing of housing. 
3. Housing Funding and Financing Research: Commission staff will discuss research and analysis being conducted by Utile and Outwith Studios, consultants supporting development of the Regional Housing Strategy for Cape Cod, including analysis of public and private funding for housing.  
4. Funding and Financing Challenges and Opportunities: Participants of the working group will discuss their experiences with funding and financing challenges for housing, as well as potential financing opportunities or models applicable for Cape Cod. 
5. Next Steps: Commission staff will discuss next steps for the working group, including meeting dates and future agenda items.
