As part of a statewide effort, the Massachusetts Association for Community Action (MASSCAP), Massachusetts Budget and Policy Center, and the Massachusetts Voter Table, are conducting a Community Briefing: How the Census Impacts Cape Cod on Thursday, October 19 at 1:00 p.m. at Barnstable Town Hall, 367 Main Street, Hyannis, MA 02601

The briefing will focus on how Census data directly impacts funding for local programs and how this information can be used to create change.

Speakers will share lessons learned from the 2020 Census and will discuss strategies to increase Cape Cod’s local count and build community awareness.

This is an opportunity to have questions answered about the Census, to learn why it matters and how it is used, and to consider how the Cape Cod community can strengthen participation.
