- Federal Fiscal Years (October 1– September 30) 2026-2030 Transportation Improvement Program (“TIP”) Amendment #2 and 2024 Regional Transportation Plan Amendment #1 (RTP) #1: Staff will review, and Committee members will consider public comments on and may vote to endorse, Amendment #2 to the 2026-2030 TIP and the Amendment #1 to the 2024 RTP to update project descriptions and funding information for the Cape Cod Bridges Program including information about phasing of the Sagamore Bridge and Bourne Bridge Replacements.
- Federal Fiscal Years 2026-2030 Transportation Improvement Program (“TIP”) Adjustment #2: Staff will present, and the Committee members may vote to approve Adjustment #2 to the 2026-2030 TIP to update the funding amount for the Provincetown Route 6 and Shank Painter Road project to match updated project cost estimates.
- Federal Fiscal Years 2026-2030 Transportation Improvement Program (“TIP”) Amendment #3: Staff will present, and the Committee members may vote to release draft Amendment #3 to the 2026-2030 TIP for a 14-day public comment period. Amendment #3 would program the Barnstable Route 132 Park and Ride Expansion project in Federal Fiscal Year 2026 and provide funding for the replacement of fifteen vehicles through the State’s Mobility Assistance Program.
- Federal Fiscal Years 2027-2031 Transportation Improvement Program (“TIP”) Development:Staff will review, and Committee members may vote to release, the draft 2027-2031 TIP for a 14-day public comment period. The TIP summarizes the regionally significant transportation infrastructure projects receiving federal funding for construction over the next five years.
- Federal Fiscal Year 2027 Unified Planning Work Program (“UPWP”) Development: Staff will review, and Committee members may vote to release, the draft 2027 UPWP for a 14-day public comment period. The UPWP summarizes all significant transportation activities planned for the fiscal year on Cape Cod.
- Regional Overhead Flashing Intersection Control Beacon Inventory: Staff will present on the recently completed Overhead Flashing Intersection Control Beacon project which inventoried 18 locations on Cape Cod that currently have this infrastructure in place. Overhead flashing intersection control beacons may be found at intersections where traffic or physical conditions do not justify conventional traffic control signals.
- Reports: MassDOT staff will discuss the status of the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) projects. Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority staff will report on the status of current and future projects and initiatives to improve public transportation services on Cape Cod. Cape Cod Commission staff will report on administrative modifications to the TIP, upcoming public meetings, and available grants.
- New Business: Topics not reasonably anticipated by the Chair more than 48 hours before the meeting.
