AGENDA: Cape Cod and Islands Water Protection Fund Management Board

Note: The meeting will be held virtually, with members of the Cape Cod and Islands Water Protection Fund Management Board participating remotely, pursuant to Chapter 20 of the Acts of 2021, as amended by Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2025.

AGENDA

  1. Roll Call/Attendance
  2. Review and approval of prior meeting minutes: 12/18/2025
  3. Administrative Expenses: Cape Cod Commission staff will discuss the administrative and technicalsupport costs incurred by the Commission from January through December 2025 in support of the Cape Cod and Islands Water Protection Fund Management Board. The Management Board may vote to reimburse the Cape Cod Commission for expenses incurred.  
  4. 2025 Annual Report: Cape Cod Commission staff will review the draft 2025 Cape Cod and Islands Water Protection Fund Annual Report. The Board will have an opportunity to provide feedback and may vote to submit the annual report to the Chairs of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Joint Committee on Environment and Natural Resources and members of the Cape Cod and Islands Legislative Delegation, as required by Massachusetts General Laws (M.G.L.) Section 19 of Chapter 337 of the Acts of 2018, An Act Regulating and Insuring Short-Term Rentals.     
  5. Subsidy Awards: Cape Cod Commission staff will review a project from the 2023 Clean Water Intended Use Plan (IUP) that qualifies for final subsidy from the Management Board. Details regarding the qualified project are available at capecodcommission.org/meetingnotices. The Management Board may vote to award a final subsidy to this project located in Wareham for which the Town of Bourne has financial responsibility.
  6. New Business: Topics not reasonably anticipated by the Chair more than 48 hours before the meeting.
  7. Public Comment
  8. Future Agenda Topics: Identification of future agenda topics by Management Board members and Cape Cod Commission staff. 
  9. Adjourn
