AGENDA: Cape Cod and Islands Water Protection Fund Management Board

Note: The meeting will be held virtually, with members of the Cape Cod and Islands Water Protection Fund Management Board participating remotely, pursuant to Chapter 20 of the Acts of 2021, as amended by Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2023.

AGENDA

  1. Roll Call
  2. Review and approval of prior meeting minutes: 8/15/2023
  3. Administrative and Technical Support Costs: Cape Cod Commission staff will discuss administrative and technical support costs incurred by the Commission from July 2023 through December 2023 in support of the Board. The Board is requested to vote to reimburse the Cape Cod Commission for expenses incurred, as well as approve the annual budget for calendar year 2024.
  4. 2023 Annual Report: Cape Cod Commission staff will review the draft 2023 Cape Cod and Islands Water Protection Fund Annual Report. The Board will have an opportunity to provide feedback and may vote to submit the annual report to the Chairs of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Joint Committee on Environment and Natural Resources and members of the Cape Cod and Islands Legislative Delegation, as required by Massachusetts General Laws (M.G.L.) Section 19 of Chapter 337 of the Acts of 2018, An Act Regulating and Insuring Short-Term Rentals.
  5. Financial Advisory Services Contract: The Management Board will discuss and may vote to authorize the Commission to issue a Request for Proposals and contract with a responsive vendor for financial advisory services.
  6. Member Reports: Members, including ex-officio members and non-member community representatives from Dukes and Nantucket Counties, will have an opportunity to provide comments and reports on local and regional water resources initiatives.
  7. New Business: Topics not reasonably anticipated by the Chair more than 48 hours before the meeting.
  8. Public Comment
  9. Future Agenda Topics: Identification of future agenda topics by Board members and Cape Cod Commission staff.
  10. Adjourn
