- Review and approval of prior meeting minutes: 6/13/2023
- Water Quality Monitoring: Cape and Islands Water Protection Fund Management Board (“Board”) members will discuss and may vote to execute a Memorandum of Agreement with the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection to administer a comprehensive water quality monitoring program of Cape Cod’s coastal embayments and surrounding water bodies, as allowed by Massachusetts General Laws at Section 19 of Chapter 337 of the Acts of 2018.
- Administrative and Technical Support Costs: Cape Cod Commission staff will discuss administrative and technical support costs incurred by the Cape Cod Commission from July 2022 through June 2023 in support of the Board. The Board will potentially vote whether to reimburse the Cape Cod Commission for these expenses incurred.
- Communication with State Administration Regarding Fund Revenue: Board members will discuss its June 2023 communication to Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey regarding the need for additional revenue to the Cape Cod and Islands Water Protection Fund and any follow-up.
- Bourne/Wareham Intermunicipal Agreement: Board members will hear an update on the Bourne and Wareham Intermunicipal Agreement for wastewater treatment, including a potential assessment to the town of Bourne for the Wareham Water Pollution Control Facility Phase 2 Improvements listed on the 2023 Clean Water Intended Use Plan.
