AGENDA: Cape Cod and Islands Water Protection Fund Executive Committee

Note: The meeting will be held virtually, with members of the Cape Cod and Islands Water Protection Fund (CCIWPF) Executive Committee participating remotely, pursuant to Chapter 20 of the Acts of 2021, An Act Relative to Extending Certain Covid-19 Measures Adopted During the State of Emergency, signed into law on June 16, 2021.

AGENDA

  1. Roll Call
  2. Approval of Prior Meeting Minutes: 3/31/21
  3. Administrative and Technical Support Costs: Commission staff will discuss administrative and technical support costs incurred from January 2019 to date. Committee members will discuss and may vote to recommend approval of expenses incurred to date, as well as an approach for annual reimbursement of expenses, for consideration by the full Management Board.
  4. Water Quality Monitoring: Committee members will discuss the provision in Massachusetts General Laws at Section 19 of Chapter 337 of the Acts of 2018, An Act Regulating and Insuring Short-Term Rentals, that in part allows funds from the Cape Cod and Islands Water Protection Fund to be dedicated to water quality monitoring.
  5. Partnership Collaborations and Eligibility for Subsidies: Committee members will discuss the potential for subsidy awards to partnership collaborations, such as the current Intermunicipal Agreement that exists between the Towns of Bourne and Wareham for the purposes of wastewater treatment, where one or more partners is not a member of the Cape Cod and Islands Water Protection Fund.
  6. New Business: Topics not reasonably anticipated by the Chair more than 48 hours before the meeting.
