Note: the meeting will be held by remote participation by the Cape Cod and Islands Water Protection Fund Executive Committee pursuant to Massachusetts Governor Charles D. Baker’s order suspending certain provisions of the open meeting law dated March 12, 2020.

AGENDA

1. Roll Call
2. Election of Officers: Committee members will vote to elect an Executive Committee Chair and Vice-Chair.
3. Approval of Prior Meeting Minutes: 3/23/2021
4. Subsidy Models: PFM Financial Advisors will present several models for providing financial subsidies for water quality improvement projects in towns on Cape Cod, consistent with the Cape Cod and Islands Water Protection Fund regulations. Committee members will have an opportunity to discuss the presentation and ask questions and may vote to forward a recommendation for subsidies to the full Management Board for consideration.
5. Potential Legislative Amendment: Committee members will review and may vote to make a recommendation regarding the proposed Bourne Town Meeting warrant article to amend Massachusetts General Laws at Section 19 of Chapter 337 of the Acts of 2018, An Act Regulating and Insuring Short-Term Rentals, which would allow the town of Bourne to potentially seek a subsidy for projects for Buzzards Bay in accordance with their intermunicipal agreement with the Town of Wareham.
6. New Business: Topics not reasonably anticipated by the Chair more than 48 hours before the meeting.
