AGENDA: Barnstable County Economic Development Council

1. Review and Approval of Prior Meeting Minutes: 12/12/2019; 10/16/2019 Grants Subcommittee; 2/14/2020 Grants Subcommittee
2. Fiscal Year 2020 License Plate Grant Program: Staff will summarize full proposals received for Major Grants (up to $150,000) and grant award recommendations from the Grants Subcommittee. Members of the Barnstable County Economic Development Council will discuss the proposals and vote on the Subcommittee recommendations for Grant awards.
3. Arts and Culture Guide: Cape Cod Commission staff will discuss an update to the document titled “Leverage Arts and Culture in Economic Development on Cape Cod,” which describes Cape Cod’s creative economy, recommendations for regional and municipal planning, and case studies in the region that connect art, culture, history, and commerce.
4. Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) Performance Measures: Commission staff will review the measures and metrics proposed in the 2019 CEDS, including how the information contained in the CEDS is being collected, and next steps toward bringing information forward in an accessible web-based interface.
5. Cape Cod Commission Executive Director Update: Kristy Senatori will report on any recent staff activities.
6. Member Reports: Barnstable County Economic Development Council members will report on any recent economic development activities.
7. New Business: Topics not reasonably anticipated by the Chair more than 48 hours before the meeting.
